Why concrete gets slippery

Shaded driveways and paths stay damp, and a thin layer of algae grows on top. In winter it turns green and slick, which is a real fall risk for older people and kids. Pressure cleaning removes it back to the bare concrete, and a seal afterwards slows it coming back.

Clean only, or clean and seal?

A clean on its own brings the concrete back. If it's faded, porous or you want it to stay clean longer, a colour seal straight after the clean is the step up. It's from $25 per m² for the clean and seal together.

How much does driveway cleaning cost?

Concrete pressure cleaning is from $4 per m² including GST, with degreasing included. Heavily stained or oily concrete is about $4.50 per m². Your written quote confirms the exact price.

Can you get oil stains out?

Degreasing is included, and most oil and tyre marks lift a long way. Old stains that have soaked deep into the concrete may fade rather than vanish, and you'll be told that before work starts.

Do you clean pavers and pool surrounds?

Yes. Pavers, pool surrounds, paths and alfresco areas are pressure cleaned, with care around joints and pool edges. They're quoted from photos.

Will the water go into my garden?

We direct runoff away from garden beds where we can and rinse paths and walls afterwards.
